May the start of a new year be a time of recommitment to all that matters most and an opportunity for starting a new with renewed energy and conviction! May the beginning of the new year also be a moment in which we recommit ourselves to lives of peace and non-violence and to solidarity with the poor, oppressed, and marginalized!
