Miracles Do Happen!
Back in June, I shared this post about the cross of cancer that one of my teachers from high school, Felician Sister Mary Alan, was undergoing. Last week, the largest paper in the state did a cover story on the amazing story on Sister's journey since receiving a prognosis of only 3-6 months to live. Reporter Politi, using the metaphors of the game of basketball so central to Sister Alan's ministry as a high school athletic director, shared an amazing story of her miracle. This is an awe-inspiring testimony and a definite must-read! Whether one recognizes the hand of God in her story and/or the function of advances in medical science, you will leave the story touched and inspired and encouraged to believe. Let's continue to embrace Sister with our prayers and trust that God is at work in her life in extraordinary ways!
My high school has an all-school reunion scheduled for Saturday, September 29th, 2007. With God's continued grace, it will be an extraordinary grace to have Sister Alan with us and be able to share a night of remembrance with her, one more time!

What great news and what a touching story. It just shows what a great life sister led and how much she touch people. We all wish if we ever were in that situation that we would have lived our lives that graciously as evidently sister did, to receive that out pouring of love.
Thankks for a great read
