"Love Came Down at Christmas"
Photo compliments of www.felicianslodi.org/
Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing...
As Midnight Mass began with choir and congregation joining in singing "O Come All Ye Faithful,"
this line stood out to me, encapsulating the essence of Christmas, the heart of what we celebrate:
Jesus, the Word of God, in human form,
now living (forevermore) among us...
Jesus, born in the likeness of (hu)man...
Jesus, our Brother, our Savior, our Lover.
O come, let us adore Him.
O come, let us adore Him.
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!
O come, let us adore Him.
O come, let us adore Him.
O come, let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!
